Wed 14 March, 7:30pm
Egyptian trained belly dancer, burlesque star and academic Faustina Fahrenheit (aka Caitlyn) will take dancers of all levels of experience through the history and practice of Middle Eastern and Western dance forms, exploring how sensuality and eroticism constructed across different cultures.
Please wear clothes and shoes you can move in. High heels optional. Costume elements provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. No experience necessary. These dance forms are traditionally performed by females, but this event is open to all genders, and assumes equal respect for all genders.
Event includes performance, dance techniques and explorations, and a discussion (a fun chat-in-the-bar discussion, no a formal Q&A!)
