Background
Caitlyn is from a family of dancers and circus performers, and has studied with some of the top bellydancers and instructors in the Middle East, Europe and America. She has also studied dance history and costume design.
An enthusiastic and versatile artist, Caitlyn is equally comfortable dancing solo or in a company, for an intimate audience or a banqueting hall of hundreds.
Experience and clients
Caitlyn has taught and performed internationally, accompanied by musicians ranging from Middle Eastern bands Mazaj and Brothers of the Baladi to rapper Fat Joe. She has bellydanced on American television and in music videos for Kasabian and other artists and has performed at hundreds of venues from small private homes to hotels such as the Dorchester Hotel and Park Lane Hilton.
Caitlyn’s clients have included universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, Northampton and Bristol Universities, military institutions such as the Royal Air Force and Army, corporations such as Debenhams, Costa Coffee and Air France, charities such as Diabetes UK and OXFAM, as well as numerous nightclubs, restaurants and private clients.
